Cost to restaurant: Is about $10 per month per worker at the low end. Max’s out around $800 a month for really big operations. Depends on the number of workers. Usually it’s somewhere around $200 per month per restaurant. Paid by AUTO pay on a credit card through SQUARE to a TD Bank corporate bank account. 

Money Mechanics Money collected by RWRP, Inc. stays in the bank account and only when a worker/patent is actually seen, does the RWRP doctor gets paid out an honorarium. $60.00 to maybe $150.00 depending on the complexity of the situation. That’s where the money goes. 

Occasionally, RWRP can pay for lab tests or x-ray or medicines in certain cases if RWRP has the funds. Otherwise, the money collected rolls over each month and each year. There may be approximately a 15% operating cost, but only on an as needed basis. 

There is no pay out to any shareholders. We are an official 501(c)3 not for profit. There is little or no operating costs or staff. We don’t have a corporate jet or even a corporate office. 

 

What RWRP Provides: 

Timely and early evaluation with an RWRP MD doctor for your employees Health recommendations such as Flu shots, HEP A vaccinations...etc. Early assessment of any health problem or concern No charge to the workers for ANY office visit or in office service provided. Zero Barrier health care or close as possible to zero. Access to an MD for all your workers and employees: Full time, part time. Delivery people, Back of the house, Front of the house and management. Expert and timely REFERRALS to another special doctor, study or NYC health resource on an as needed basis ONLY IF AND WHEN NECESSARY. . A Medical Doctor your workers can contact by email or text if they have a question or concern Early, sometimes life saving diagnosis of dangerous conditions such as cancer, heart disease or high blood pressure and others. 

 

RWRP does not, at present, pay for outside lab tests or studies. Such as Quest Diagnostics or Sunrise labs or an X-RAY place. We do, however, make every effort to get lower prices or discounts wherever and whenever possible. 

RWRP is NOT any sort of insurance. 

Long Term Vision To open and support more RWRP doctors in NYC area and other even in other USA cities. Using shared economy practices. If 20 or 30 restaurants chip in some monthly money in any community in the USA and they can locate a general physician to provide the services as a “side business”, RWRP system can be expanded, copied or cloned and become an effective, functional and valuable health component in any community. 

The restaurant and service industry is one of the largest, or possibly the largest, employer in NYC. Many of these workers do not have rational access to a medical doctor. They are shut out by cost in dollars, cost in days or time (cannot miss work) or afraid of the huge unpayable surprise bill from a hospital or ER. RWRP was created to see this population or working patients quickly and early at VERY low cost in terms of time or money. Then, the very few who require more attention and care can be pointed in that direction. 

Why does this make sense? Without MD access, all your workers just “wait and see what happens” with their cough, fever, stomach ache or cut finger. Possibly exposing their co-workers and even your customers to negative health consequences. Also, the workers are now forced into the position to determine for themselves IF their problem is “serious or not” or “doctor worthy”. Serious enough to miss a day of work, Serious enough to risk a huge, unnecessary expense or debt which can quickly equal 3 months of wages. And without any 

training or expertise to make such a judgement. Early diagnosis is way cheaper and way 

better for everyone involved. Thank you.
